Former television production executive Alex Breingan has lost a legal bid to lift an arrest warrant in New Zealand, the NZ Herald reports.

Breingan, who is based in Los Angeles, faces 33 fraud and forgery charges involving $14.5 million.

There was no immediate comment from Breingan on the ruling, Shayne Currie reports for NZ Herald business.
