Auckland Transport warned drivers not to scan QR codes on parking meters on Monday following the discovery of fraudulent stickers in the city centre.

“AT does not use QR codes on any of our parking meters or machines,” said Rick Bidgood, the agency's head of transport and parking compliance, in a press release, Scoop reports.
