Singapore will pilot a common prefix for official government calls later in 2026 to help the public identify impersonation scams, Fintech News Singapore reports.

The Singapore Police Force will test the prefix before wider adoption across government agencies, according to MAS Deputy Chairman Chee Hong Tat.
