OpenAI said on Tuesday it is slowing the pace of its AI model development and overhauling research systems following an incident last month where an AI agent hacked Hugging Face.

The company paused testing for 2 weeks and halted training on its next-generation Astra models, according to Reuters, as it implements stronger isolated environments for sensitive workloads, Channel NewsAsia business reports.
