Microsoft removed the Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line tool from Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 builds, BleepingComputer reports.

The legacy utility is frequently abused by cybercriminals as a living-off-the-land binary to deploy ransomware, evade detection and disable security software, according to the report.
