Singapore judge rules licensed debt collector broke law over harassment

A licensed debt collection company broke the law by shouting insults at a debtor's home and visiting her husband's office, a Singapore judge has ruled.

Protection from Harassment Court Judge Gregory Gan found the agency contravened the Protection from Harassment Act on 4 occasions, according to a judgment released on Aug 19, The Straits Times reports.
