The director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Ethics at the University of Melbourne said the delay in Australian authorities being notified of the breach raises questions about how OpenAI is being run.

She said:

“Open AI keeps telling us about more and more unauthorised breaches by swarms of AI agents suggests a lack of care in the way the company is being run”

The director suggested that repeated unauthorised breaches by AI agents points to insufficient care in how the company operates its systems.
