Katie Gallagher, the Minister for Government Services, told ABC Afternoon Briefing that OpenAI had opportunities to disclose the breach but failed to do so.

Altman was in the country earlier in the month and met with Richard Miles in early September, Gallagher said.

She said the government was conducting a thorough forensic examination of the affected websites.
