Gallagher says government still examining OpenAI's explanation for delayed notification

In an interview with ABC Afternoon Briefing, Katie Gallagher, the Minister for Government Services, acknowledged the government has not yet received a full explanation from OpenAI about why the company delayed notifying officials of the breach.
Gallagher said that after a technical exchange in New York, the government still has unanswered questions about OpenAI's notification process.
She said the government is considering whether to refer the matter further.
Well, we've certainly raced that with OpenAI through the technical exchange of a night in New York and I'm not fully across all of the issues that were raised in that conversation other than what the PM has spoken about publicly.
