Panel recommended continuous monitoring of high-risk government websites, Pocock says it did not occur

A panel advising on AI recommended that the government conduct continuous monitoring of high-risk government websites and data sets, David Pocock told ABC News Australia, but said that monitoring has not taken place.
Pocock did not say whether he believed the breach met a criminal threshold for referral to the Australian Federal Police, which the government is considering.
One of the things they said is that we need continuous monitoring of high risk government websites and data sets. Clearly that hasn't been happening.
