Coalition says Australia should embrace US AI companies, not fight them

The Coalition rejected the Prime Minister's approach to artificial intelligence. Deputy Liberal Leader Jane Hume told ABC News Australia that Australia should be embracing American AI companies rather than picking fights with them.
Hume said the government's warnings about AI risks do nothing to protect Australians from the technology.
